At Secret Island, our mission is simple. We are committed to developing a world where sustainable seafood is accessible to all. That’s why it’s no secret our seafood upholds the highest levels of eco-friendly production and are certified with the standards of Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP), so you can enjoy extraordinary food in every box!

In 2020, we launched Secret Island in the U.S. after 25 successful years (and counting!) of providing Chilean salmon to hotels, restaurants, and foodservice businesses all around the world under the Chilean name brand Salmones Austral.

Our Secret: Uncovered

We source our seafood from pure cold waters near a Secret Island off the coast of Patagonia in Southern Chile. On this island known as Chiloé, myths and legends seem as tangible as the salmon we source. Mystery looms around every corner, from the Pincoya mermaid with long, golden locks that beckon to sailors, to a sunken forest wrapped in illusion and covered with ghostly trunks, — there are infinite treasures to uncover. We’re proud of our Chilean roots and the rich stories of Chiloé and look forward to sharing this magic with you.
