- 4 Secret Island Salmon filets
- 1 tbsp Kosher salt, divided
- 2 bunches flat leaf parsley, chopped
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice of 2 lemons
- ¾ cup grapeseed
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
Heat grill to 400° F. Season salmon filets evenly with 2 tsp salt and 2 tbsp olive oil, set aside.
To your blender, add parsley, cilantro, cumin, ginger, paprika, and lemon juice. Pulse until completely combined.
Place salmon, skin side down onto grill over direct heat leaving grill lid open. Grill for 8-9 minutes then carefully flip and finish grilling for an additional 2 minutes.
Top grilled salmon with generous spoonfuls of chermoula. Finish with cracked black pepper and lemon zest (optional).
